How to set Up Team Speak
We finally have TeamSpeak, thanks to Negwean and Ravenmoon!
For those who don't know how to set it up, I'm writing this guide. I'm going to try to make it as detailed as necessary. For those of you who are familiar with it, the server is:
208.101.20.167:8777
Step-by-Step Guide:
Download TeamSpeak 2.0 Client by clicking the TeamSpeak logo to the left of this post.. In order to download it, you must accept the EULA by hitting "I Accept" at the bottom of the page.
Install the program by double clicking following the prompts. The installer might ask you to install codec's needed for TeamSpeak to run, follow the prompts to install these also.
Launch the program if it hasn't opened already, and got to Settings > Sound Input/Output Settings. Under Voice Send Method, select Push to talk, and be sure to set a hot key that won't interfere with EQ or other programs (The right alt button seems to be working best for many of us). Hit Close after you are done.
To connect to the server, go to Connection > Quick Connect. Enter the information as shown below:
Server Address: 208.101.20.167:8777
Nickname: Your EverQuest main character's name.
Password: Please ask an officer for our password
When you are done, hit connect.
You should now be connected to the server, if you have any problems, either send Emusaurus, Negwean, or Ravenmoon a tell in-game,
